EXCERPT

Zara woke the next morning achy and invigorated, stretched her limbs to test their flexibility. Or rather she stretched and tested Zack’s flexibility. She didn’t know whether to thank Micah and Jamaereh or curse them for this divine sex-switch until she remembered her night and morning with Quincy. 

He was everything she’d ever thought he would be and more in a lover. Even with the unexpected development of her having to finally enjoy his tender and firm strokes as a man—her twin brother no less—she still found herself looking forward to their next session of lovemaking with a strong mixture of hunger and anticipation. 

She sat up in bed beneath the navy-blue, satin sheet and hugged herself. She felt like a bride on her honeymoon, every nerve tingling with afterglow. 

Could they top all of the orgasms they achieved last night? 

Zara smiled, eager to find out until she glanced over at Quincy. 

Poor baby was sprawled face down, lightly snoring and looking totally wasted.  

She would have roused him until she remembered the opening last night and how hard he’d worked tending to everyone’s needs and making sure the nightclub was a success.

Her nightclub. 

Zara got all choked up when she remembered Quincy smiling down at her surrounded by all the trappings she’d described in her nightclub business plan. He’d followed her outline all the way down to the minutest detail.

She was so grateful, she could have hugged Quincy last night when she’d first emerged in Zack’s body while Zack drifted to sleep in the VIP lounge. But she was stuck playing it cool for fear that she might give too much away too soon. 

Her brother liked to have a good time, but was nowhere near the party animal that Zara was, and Quincy would have noticed Zack acting out of character. Bad enough she’d slipped several times and called him ‘big handsome’ when no one else in the world used that nickname for him but her. Not that Quincy had noticed. He’d been too busy pursuing and drooling over Zack every free moment he had away from his staff and customers.

Zara smiled knowing the two people she loved most in the world had finally gotten together. It wasn’t an ideal situation, especially not for Zack, but at least she’d got them over their first hurdle. 

Somewhere down deep she thought she should be jealous of her brother and how much Quincy had enjoyed being with Zack when he’d never wanted to give her the time of day where sex was concerned. She knew she was being unreasonable, that Quincy was gay, but it didn’t stop her from wanting more of him for herself. Didn’t stop her from wanting him to know exactly who he had made love to last night, that it wasn’t just Zack.

Okay, maybe she was being an egotistical, spoiled brat, but old habits died hard. 

Zara closed her eyes against a sudden wave of dizziness. She could barely keep her eyes open they felt so heavy.

Zack was waking up. 

She could feel him scratching and clawing his way to consciousness even while she tried to hold onto awareness herself.

Damn it, she wanted more time! This was so unfair. 

Why were those two angels toying with her like this, giving her only a taste of Quincy through Zack? 

She wanted her own body. She wanted Quincy for herself.
